Solved High Risk website blocked? "Count.IM"

We're still looking for where this might be coming from and haven't been able to duplicate / identify it.

Usually if it's something that is global (all users) we get a flood of posts and emails about it. In cases like this, where it seems to be more isolated, we think it's probably one of the ad-networks targeting a very specific type of device or behavior... which makes it even harder to track down.

A group of us are on Skype trying to get to the bottom of this thing, and I see there are other threads on this from as early as March 2018.

If others are seeing this, it would be good for them to post here so we can start isolating any commonalities between them.

If anyone is still seeing that Windows, your AV, etc. is blocking the count . im site, Nifty Chicken asked you to post on this thread; I think because it's the latest one.

For what it's worth, so far, it seems that eSet Nod 32 isn't the only AV blocking this.

I'm all bleary eyed, but I had a security guru from TenForums.com remote into my computer with TeamViewer and somehow she cleaned out whatever was hiding in my system.

That doesn't explain how it came to be here only, nor does it explain how I got it in the first place. I don't go to places I'm not familiar with. And, as I said, it popped up the first time I opened Backyard Chickens.

I don't know enough about what it was to point any fingers, but I do need to say, "Be on your toes, Nifty-Chicken!"

@Nifty-Chicken , I am the one who started a similar thread earlier this year about the same issue. Mine was enterprise version of Sophos blocking it. Still does to this day. Everytime I visit any page on the site. So it is not new or isolated!

No, it's the AV. I'd say paneubert doesn't have an ad blocker activated in his browser or he wouldn't see the block.
