High Temperature-Help needed !

I found my rooster sleeping under the shade in the afternoon. When i woke him up, he was not much reaponsive , he was not walking much too. Could it be because of high temperature? As its 44 Degree Celsius in here already.... His breathing is fast, he opens his beak alot and breathing is making a whistling type sound too.

Plenty of shade and put ice in the water. On hot days the water should be replenished with cold clean water at least once. Drinking hot water on hot days doesn't cool them down. If you've electrolyte powder you can add that. Chickens don't do well in heat at all, black birds are the worst if not enough shade and cold water.

For quick cool down try garden hose on mist. Let it run out the hot water in hose first.

Gave him a bath with cold water.... He didnt crowed at all today.... Hes a constant crowing guy otherwise.... Brought him inside and gave him water , gonna put ice cube in it and will let u know about the updated condition. Thanks for the quick response
