Highest # of Packing Peanuts You've Received

I ordered 25 pullets that are due in on Thursday.Think Ill get any "peanuts"?I ordered them from Sunray.Anyone else ordered from them? Anything good or bad to say abouth them?

When you place an order of 6 to 15 are you paying a surcharge for not ordering 25 or are they just charging you for what you order and then padding with extras?

This is my first time with chickens and ordered 14 from Ideal, I had requested they mark any peanuts they send (just so I knew which was which). Their idea of marking them was sending 6 naked neck!

Right now they are destined for the freezer and they all have the same name, Creepy.

Ordered 12 assorted chicks from ideal and got 8 Light Brahma packing peanuts.

All of Ideal's packing peanuts are roos correct? Just wondering because there is a comb difference on some of the chicks but I know absolutely nothing of the brahma breed so it might just be my ignorance, lol.

we oredered 10 pullets, variuos breeds and got 7 boys, all RIR ( at least that is what we think) We ended up taking all but 1 to the feedstore. The one we kept we named Elmer after the glue, cause he had a bad case of the pasty butt thing. He is the most curious of any poultry I have ever seen. He will be right there on the broom when you sweep....he is only 5 weeks old, cute.

We also hatched out our own mixed breed at the same time, or well, they are 5 days apart.
One we are pretty sure is a pullet, she is a Barred Rock/EE and Blue Cochin mix, The other one we have gotten word of might be a roo, he/she is Buff Orpington/Blue Cochin mix. they are both beautiful, fully feathered legs and all.
