Have another chook!! 12 week old light sussex. Shes beautiful!

Took her all of 30min to work out the waterers too!

Hi AlexxD - welcome!

I'm in South Australia and fairly new to the chicken world, well the breeding side of it, have had layers for years....your silkie cross is beautiful - we were given a silkie rooster who is producing some interesting crossbred types with our Isa Brown hens! The kids love the different colours that have emerged thus far, will be interesting to see how big their eggs are when we get there.

New Zealand would have to be my favourite spot in the world, haven't visited for a few years now, aah the joys of kids and farms (!!) but I will get back there one day. If I could afford the land we would set up shop near Wanaka....beautiful!
