So today I've found out about the Hill Pigeon (Columba rupestris) that is a sister species of the Rock Dove (Columba Livia). It looks a lot like a blue bar, but on it's tail it has a white band before the black or dark grey. Did you know about this species? And what are your thoughts?

Thanks for you post. I had never heard about this species. Looking at photos it seems almost identical to the rock dove... just the tail colour. I would like to breed some of my racing pigeons that colour!!!
