Are you sure about this??? I went over a couple of months ago and volenteered to help out, but they weren't ready and said they would call me. I went by there on Saturday but they were closed. Another BYC member said he saw swap signs up but there weren't any when I went over and another BYC member who was planning on going called them and they told her they already had the swap????????? Don't know... Sorry I didn't see Shadowland Farms's post.

I went there yesterday, they had flyers out at the cash register. I believe you have to purchase a spot

Ahhh.
They've got quite the hay selection. Really green stuff too.
I avoided the place for a long time because the name makes it sound expensive but it's not.
I used to get their $11 bales of T/A when I had goats.

They aren't like they used to be anymore. They do get some good shipments in but most of it is either really lightly packed or turning brown. We did find a place up the road near J&J (next to the mosque) called Ocala Hay Depot who have some real nice prices and good quality feed and hay. We're getting layer there for $10.50, a little low on protien but otherwise seems good, our birds love it.

I have been getting my feed at Gunters, but it is so close to me. I pay $10.25 on Layer. I have been getting my hay from Dinkins. I think they have nice hay. I don't mind paying a little more if it's nice stuff.

My horse is so picky on hay, so we usually go to Ocala for feed/hay, but if I'm in a crunch we usually stay around Dunnellon and pay the higher prices.

Just found this thread! I'm not working this day and DH will be out of town, so I want to come! I haven't made it to a swap in ages b/c of my work schedule. I do have to work Friday night (until 8 am Saturday) so cross your fingers work is slow that night and I can make it at a decent time!
