We had someone coming in while I was on bedrest w/a pregnancy a couple of years ago. I so wish she was still here! If I could afford it I would have another one in a heartbeat. I don't have any advice for you but just wanted to wish you the best of luck on finding one and I hope you get a good one

You know if I could afford it (and I'd have to be making a boat load of money and then some like we are talking at least half a mil a year) I think I'd have them not do the bedrooms but do the rest.
I didn't check where you're from but the really good ones here charge around $20 an hour. I think the average is around $15/hr. I can't wait for the day that we're able to have someone come clean for us!
I used to clean houses years ago when my son was in elementary school.... most cleaning companies usally do not clean homes by the hour they are usually priced at a set rate usually determined by square footage of home, how many bathrooms, kitchens/bars- (in & outdoors), patio rooms, bedrooms, etc. , and if you have pets (hair). Most companies do general cleaning ONLY, not all will deep clean and will state that in your contract and/or agreement that YOU sign before service. If you are looking for someone to help on a hourly basis you may be best off to ask a good neighbor's teenage daughter to help out or a teen family member my cousin used to clean for her elderly neighbors by the hour.
Everytime I have hired someone, I have hired the cleaning person from work. Background check and references are done for me, and the current one is a cleaning machine. I pay her $40 to clean the house and she happy to get it.
