History of Mille Fleur Leghorns?

I've got one MF Leghorn rooster, a beautiful bird. His girlfriend got eaten by raccoons a few weeks ago, but I have some more chicks coming soon from Sand Hill. I saw a brief mention of something about their history in an older thread but was wondering if anyone has more information? Anyplace to look or anyone to contact?
