Can you leash walk him? Ive seen city pigs walked, just like a dog. Maybe just get him used to a collar/harness first.. then do just walks around the yard with lots of praise.. then increase the distance. Praise and scratches are a better motivator than treats. Lighter in calories too!
I used to walk him.. then he got too big for his harness.
I got one of the biggest harnesses I could find. I think I can just have him walk by my side around the yard till he gets small enough for the harness.
They must make bigger ones? Or adjust? Maybe a dog one?
Are they regular harness/collar latches? If so, you can just add a dog collar in between the harness latches, as an extender. Just match up the latch sizes.
He also squealed and ran when I tryed to put it on ...
That could work when I teach him the harness is ok.
So I will need to teach that the harness is ok.
