Passed by Nampa yesterday going from Kuna to Weiser and back, before heading home to Buhl, ID. My husband's brother lives in Kalispell. He owned the Arctic Circle, until he closed it and retired 2 yrs ago. When I lived in Montana, it was in the other corner of the State....little town of Ekalaka. I can see why you moved from Nampa....that's not as pretty as where you are now. You might find the weather a bit more extreme up there. Find someone with chickens to see how they keep theirs warm in the winter....that will be your big challenge.
