Sorry this is the only picture it would allow me to take. Red sex link. 5 weeks old

If it is a red sex link then it has to be female. But it may be a production Rhode Island red instead, in which case those little wattles could indicate cockerel. We need a better comb shot and a full body shot to be certain of what is what.

Agree IF a red sex link its female.
If production red still thinking pullet.
Had to blow pic up on my phone just to see the wattles.

Not a red sex link. It would have white flight feathers on its wings. I think this is a production red. That said, I'd keep an eye on it. The wattles are worrisome, if you can't have males. Just keep an eye on it and post again when they're 8 weeks old or so.

Really, he/she even came from a hatchery. Maybe I need to show you the other 2. I ordered 3 red sex links. All 3 look a little different.

Substitution, maybe? Red sexlink females remind me of dip-dyed clothes with white toward the back end and red toward the front. They can have more or less white by individual but it's always there.

It’s not a red sexlink,looks like a production red.Im going with pullet.
