Hello, so basically I have one quail which keeps going on to it’s side and sleeping but it leg twitches ( it did still have its umbiliCal cord attached when it was hatching) so is that normal him then?
also my second quail has the same thing expect it is still attached and is all dryed up I’m not to sure what to do with them?

one of our birds still had the cord. it'll fall off. i'm not sure about why their leg would twitch. might be normal, but it's been a while since i hatched eggs. I forgot

The cord can be broken if it hasn't already fallen off by now. The leg twitching I'm not sure about. How is it doing today? Chicks are pretty resilient, and they often fix themselves with 24 hours, or it becomes clear that they need treatment or aren't going to make it.
