Holderread Rare Duckling Assortment

Well, ended up pretty much 50/50. Ended up w/ 4 girls (1 WH, Mystery duck and 2 runners which I will be selling to a friend) and 5 boys (1 WH, my Dutch Hookbill dag nabbit, and 4 of my runners.) I am going to keep the 2 WH's and mystery duck, and I will be adding another WH female and a Trio of Saxonies from Holderreads later this year. Will try to add a trio of Magpies next year and I am still up in the air but considering getting a pair of Silkies next year too. My WH are such BEAUTIFUL ducks, I love their coloring. Need to get some pictures this weekend.

I recently hatched out saxonies. Worked hard on the imprinting. But they are friendly lazy ducks! Here is my drake to be. Sheldon.

AvianEgo: He is handsome! I can't wait until I get the call that they my Saxony's are available. Sadly we just lost all but 1 of our ducks to a predator (prob a coyote). They would not come in off the pond a couple nights ago, and were attacked overnight. I have 1 brown runner left, and just picked up a few Ancona's today to keep her company (she was so lonely ). Poor ducks
