so this was how much the chicken had done with no help
I peeled a bit of the shell off and I think that I may have peeled the membrane.

there was no blood though so I thought it was fine and continued peeling. that's around about how much I peeled.

I couldn't resist after and went to check on it again then held it in my hands in the hopes that it would hatch in my hand (it didn't) and that was silly of me so I wont do it again. it was rolling and peeping quite a bit though and I could feel tiny kicks against the shell when I held it. I think I may have pressed on it a little hard though because I also wanted to pick the other ones to see how they were doing (they're doing badly) and I picked this one instead and my fat fingers kind of squished/poked it a bit hard when it was in the shell. But its still moving and peeping. Also, its head was tucked under its wing after. is that fine? I think its doing good though

WAIT I just saw the rest of the pics and this one seems like it had a second layer of shell underneath its shell. is that the membrane? if that is, then what's the other layer which is like thin transparent skin.

what is this bit? is it shrink wrapped? if its the membrane its not completely transparent

UGH I AM PRETTY CERTAIN I RIPPED THE MEMBRANE OFF! IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO?? I SHOULDVE SAT ON MY HANDS FROM THE START!

that's how much blood was yet to be absorbed. I feel so BAD! I thought I was peeling off the shell and that thin skin thing was the membrane! Will it be fine? anyone help!! should I check on it again to see how its doing??
