Holes in eggs?

I have some new layers and one of the eggs consistently has a hole on the small end. I initially thought the quail were jumping around and cracking them, but it has happened 3 times now. It is not happening to my other layers so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any ideas?

I would guess that for some reason one hen is low on calcium and her eggs are slightly imperfect. Are you providing a calcium source ?

I provide oyster shells a couple of times per week. Should I have them available all the time?

Calcium deficiency.

Sometime they don’t eat oyster so I would crack up their egg shells and feed them that.
