Entry #4 - Chocolate Mousse Pie

First time I've ever made this, and it was the first time I actually had to make whipped cream from scratch. I didn't quite get the texture right but oh boy, this was DELICIOUS. I spread more whipped topping across the top and used mini chocolate chips to surround the outer edge and also fill a stocking-shaped cookie cutter in the center. My baking gift to my husband who requested this!

Made another half batch of plain caramels, accidently under cooked them, nor good for wrapping, maybe for ice cream. so I recooked them, forgot about them so they seized. I added water and am boiling them again. They are very dark now, they'll either be really, really good or really burned. LolView attachment 2939918

I've seen that technique before but wasn't sure if that's how you made your's...they look a lot better than most I've seen. Good job!
Well I’m surprised they worked. You can’t use buttercream on them tho. I used a simple high humidity icing I have. Also to pipe I used a small star tip. A I little bit of powder sugar over the whole cake and it’s a snowy winter scene.
