Holiday Wall Hanging Block Swap

Hope this works here is the blocks I made for this swap. Hope you all like them they had a lot of pieces. Branched out LOL pun intended. You can't tell in the pictures but all those little leaves are out lined in gold thread. It sparkles

Nice tree blocks, Jean. I am thinking about using tree blocks in between the BYC town blocks but they wouldn't have that many pieces if I do.

I like the tree Zoo! I copied that pattern out from somewhere and thought about making it a 12" block, might try that next month in the swaps. Very nice! Leeps, I cut out 12.5" solid, plain blocks to put between my BYCville ones, haven't sewn anything together yet but they are all in a roll together, made it bigger and I think with top stitching it will be a nice country touch, guess we'll see, have so many christmas things to finish first though.

Jean..those are great..I have looked at that fabric several times regarding borders..sooo..you may be helped the desicion..

Glad you liked it what was nice is that I didn't waste the corners where the tree branches are I sewed another seam before I cut them so now I got tons of these little green and white blocks.


The green is a really pretty material, you couldn't go wrong with using it.

The leaf material I bought at a quilt shop for $12.99 a yard and has been worth every penny. If I get back there and they have any more I will be buying some.

Yes at those quilt shops they are a little pricey but some of them are worth it.
