..I have pms and I haven't gone on vacation..

I do have to tell all ya'll..went to the PO with my blocks,fat qtrs, towels to mail..I lifted up prayers before going in..my clerk ended up being a woman..she said,"these must be swap blocks for July, do you need any returns?"..I nearly fainted..someone who knew what I needed..only not this time..(BYCville blocks)..I did ask how she knew..she said she overheard the last time I sent some and didn't think the GUY ever understood what I was doing...

my question to her should have been.."then why didn't you step in"..oh well SE got them and it is all straight now!!!!

Once he made the mistake of asking me why I didn't want him to help me. I told him that when I spend my money keeping him in a job I expected to be treated with respect and he some how missed that lesson when his mother was trying to teach it to him. His mother was at the counter being waited on by the lady, she turned and said, your right I did try to teach him that and he never was smart enough to learn it LOL.

My face didn't even turn red, shame on me hey LOL. He never asks me any ?'s now he just says can I help the person behind you Jean LOL.

My neighbor agreed to join us! Yay! She'll register with BYC too, so her name will change once she does that.

I have a paper piecing question...how do you decide what dimensions to use for each piece in the pattern. Do you just enlarge the shape that is there and add on a seam allowance? I was hoping to use all rectangles (cause I"m not so terrific cutting triangles!)

I found a cute snowman and candy cane pattern I'll test out. Would everyone be OK with a snowman, it's winter, but not exactly holiday.
