Holiday Wall Hanging Block Swap

Hi All!

I have all but 1 set of blocks...YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THEM!!

I have a question for the group. The person whose I haven't received yet was contacted a few weeks ago and she said she'd "get cutting". I PM'ed her on the first just to check in and I haven't heard back. We could...

1. Wait til the end of this week to see if I hear from her
OR
2. I can ship them as is this week (you each have 3 of your own, 9 different ones)and let her know to hold hers.

What do you think? I'll go with the majority vote for who responds!

Well IMO, is this a person who is just got behind? If so and that person is one who usually sends them a little late I don’t mind waiting. BUT, I would like to have it done for Christmas. I see you haven't heard back from her. I say wait until the end of this week then send them out. If she doesn't contact you then she didn't do them and send them out.

If it's SteffPeck, as indicated on the list on the first page, I never even see her post...certainly did not see her post on this thread. I'm sorry but I am one to vote for commitment through the whole project, meaning that folks post and check in with their progress..my vote is to finish the swap as it is now since the majority met their deadline. Everytime I host a swap there are folks that join with good intention and cant seem to meet the requirements, she can join the next one and will be ahead of the game!

Well..I agree with SE too..I know I already voted!!..the other way..but I guess it doesn't really matter to me in regards to getting them this week or next..I don't have pot holders to make..lol..but I definitely agree with the committment and keeping in touch issue!!!

I just checked history on Stefpeck. The last time she was able to post online was 9/15.

Even though Welman got a post back from her saying she would "get cutting", I am making the assumption that with school starting with three children Stefpeck has not been able to find enough free time to meet that committment.

That said, perhaps SE is right.

Maybe a PM from Welman to Stefpeck letting her know the deadline will be honored would be in order.
If Stefpeck has started her blocks and wants to finish her blocks then using PM we can arrange an individual exchange later.

I am agreeable with whatever you choose to do.

I vote to send out the blocks and have her hold hers especially since you have individuals that have banked on useing these as projects for gifts, etc.
