Holland Chicken search

I think that's going to be a tough breed to find just about anywhere. They are rare and according to one source I just looked at, it's speculated that the whites have disappeared (according to the Livestock Conservancy and Henderson's Handy Dandy Chicken Chart). I did a quick check with a couple online hatcheries...MyPetChicken says they can't find any, others do not include them in their offerings (Murray McMurray, Purely Poultry, Meyers, eFowl).

There are a few older posts here on BYC where people have found them at Sand Hill Preservation Center, they're in Iowa. I don't know if they still offer them or not but with a Google search you could find SHPC's phone number.

Good luck finding the birds you want!

You could try putting "white Hollands," in the search box and see if anything comes up. If not there is a chance something will turn up on google. Would you know if they are known by any other name?

I know this is an old thread, but I thought I'd add my info anyways.

I bred some Barred Hollands in Idaho early this spring, but my family has plans to move (not sure where yet) so I sold eggs, chicks, and breeding stock to local breeders who wanted this breed. If anybody want them near Idaho, pm me and I'll hook you up with those breeders.

Hopefully this will catch the eye of any interested parties.
