I am starting tonight, a little later than everyone else, but I needed things balanced with the calendar.

YAY Congrats on the babies Lisa!!! There are flippin adorable!!!

Tues. I candle Miss P's eggs to see how they are doing and then later that week (my other bator) it will be the duck eggs to see how they are doing! The gamefowl I have in there are 2 outta 3 so far good. I now have a chicken bator and a duck bator LOL

Aw don't feel bad lol Just buy more next time!!! hehe Do what I did and just go crazy, thos eggs that you see pics of are actually eggs that I was nominated by all these lovely people to recieve, I didn't even have a clue until they told me I won! LOL It was pretty nifty!

The really sad part is I live in town and cannot have very many chickens (the whole being a good neighbor thing)

Thanks guys this is gonna be fun! OOOOH Austrolorps! Way to go Huny! What incubating method are you guys using? I am using a dry method. In a hovabator.
My last batch I incubated, the temps stayed pretty steady. How are yours?

I'm also using the dry method in a hova, this is my first hatch and aside from one temp spike of 104 this morning, everything seems to be going fine.

I put chicken eggs in on Apr 25, 29, and 30. In different bators.
I've got:
one Cameo Peafowl egg
4 blue, white, and pied peafowl
18 buff orps
10 silkies
5 Toulouse Geese eggs
6 Dominiques
6 Silver laced Cochin (how do I pronounce that anyway, Cochin?)
and 2 blue surprise eggs

phew..
