LOL, those sound too cute. Honestly I think the blood rings were from the day 3 when I had a 104 temp spike when I woke up. I cracked them open to see when they stopped and there was just a little blood around the outside with no other development. If I get just one NN, and one Phoenix, I will consider this hatch to be a successful first attempt. I have been learning a lot.

No technique really, my BYC page shows the bator i use. and i only replace water about once every 2 weeks

to the freezer bator, I have looked at your page several times trying to figure out your turner. I have been curious how you set up the handel to turn from the outside.

Started candling this morning. Of course, the silkie eggs were unfertile. These are pre trimming their vents. So hopefully better soon? The BBS Orps most look like they are developing, but the eggs are dark, so it's hard to tell. My Australorps are all developing quite nicely! I had three that didn't have anything, I was about to throw out then I remembered DUH! I put those three in the same time I put in the pheasants yesterday or the day before. LOL

I'm a blonde, and forgot to mark those.

I can't see a thing in the quail eggs, guess I'll just let them be.

Hi Everyone~ Im glad everyone is doing good. Babies hatching and eggs developing nicely! I, on the other hand, am not sure what is happening in my bator. I candled yesterday. I have 13 eggs in there and some are EE's and some are australorps. The EE's are really dark so I cant really tell if they are developing, but I thought I saw some possibilities. As for the austrolorps, they all look clear again! This is exactly what happened last time. I am from California they were sent from oklahoma, do you think it was just too far for them to travel?
Well, Iam going to stop candling and just wait for hatch day. Since I cant do anything about it anyways! Talk to you soon~ Tacey
