Holly, Lisa, and Lexa's Egg Hatching Thread...TAKE TWO!

I have chickens due the 17th and the 23rd...

and

I have ducks due 26th of May through the 6th of June LOL

Sooo, I candled, I have 3 out of 13 of Miss P's eggs that are developing with 6 blood rings and the rest didn't develope b/c of air cell damage... I'm just unlucky at this... They are at day 12 so I know I should be safe cleaning out the bator of clears.

I haven't had a single temp spike and humidity has been great so I'm pretty sure it's just from shipping...

Hey Holly- Im sorry. Don't beat yourself up over it. YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS THIS PROBLEM WITH SHIPPED EGGS. My last batch I had a full bator of 28 eggs. Non of them made it to term. I had one that died between day 18 & 21. All the others were clear or had a blood ring. There is nothing we can do about it. Try getting eggs closer to you. Get some good hatches under your belt, and you will feel better. Besides, there is still a couple that might make it!! Good luck~ Tacey
