i candled about 4 eggs yesterday, 3 were my own from my gals, and I SAW HEARTBEATS!!!!

how precious!!! yippee!!! My roo has great fertility!!!!

I dont suggest candling til day 7 though.... so this saturday i will be candling again!!!! Holly you should candle on sunday or monday!!!

I have no clue what the black one is. I will take a better picture and post it, she is adorable. She has a small puff on top her head.

Hahaha i knew you would for some reason. Hahhaa. Its addicting, i have to stay away.... anywho thanks! I hope we can see our babies this weekend. Lets take pics! I'll post pics this weekend of my candling. Too bad most all of my eggs are brown. Those suckers are hard to see through

Ok so I set a bunch yesterday, can I join in? But then it would be Holly, Lisa and Lexa. I have 7 duck eggs from ChickenLisa on here, 48 Buff Orpingtons and Silver Laced Wyandottes and BO/SLW mix possibly from my Uncle in law that has raised them over 50 years, 12 New Hampshire Red Bantams from someone back east (?) and 12 from my flock of white silkies and Columbian Rock Bantams. I also switched my broody hens eggs yesterday to 10 or so white silkies/NHRB/CRB so she "started" yesterday too.

I could be off a few eggs, but what's that, around 90? We will see what I get

Just had to post and brag that my first ever silkies hatched yesterday and today. I'm excited for both of you, and hope you have as great a hatch as I did. I had shipped eggs, northern UT to southern NM, and 8 of the 12 have hatched. I think the hatch is finished, as it started yetserday morning.
