Lisa- I see that you have one really tiny egg too, do you have any clue why there is such a small one, I have one as well and I'm wondering if it's just going to be a smaller chick?!?!

I have 4 silkie eggs due to hatch on Saturday. I hope it happens then cause my grandsons will be over and I would love them to see it.

I also have about 18 under one of my standard cochin hens due in 20 days.

i cant help but feel INCREDIBLY stupid..... i dont have 18 silkie eggs. bah ha ha ha. I have 12 silkie eggs, 6 serama eggs, 4 bo eggs, and 4 sizzles. Oh and a few of my GL + SL polish eggs.


I lost my mind last night i must have been tired!

When my banties started laying eggs, they were really tiny. So tiny, I was putting them in the dog food.

Well my neighbor wanted some banties and I gave him the tiny eggs also and he hatched out a chick about 1/2 the size of his thumb.

The chick has no problems and is doing great.

I do not hatch out many bantie eggs, I have enough of them for what I use them for.
