Central KY
Not sure how I'm going to make it home tonight.. One of the main roads to my house is reportedly closed due to some serious wind damage...even if it's open, a neighbor said there's a big oak down between that road and my house. So, that's out.

The other main road is reportedly under water about 1.5mi from home....that may recede by the time I'm rolling through, but who knows..

Oh...there's no power at my house, either.. We just put a bunch of fresh garden produce in the freezer yesterday, so it BETTER come back on soon.

I shouldn't complain too much, though.. Parts of Louisville, KY got upward of 6" of rain in 3 hours this morning.. There was like six feet of water in the library in downtown louisville.

Bad, bad, bad...it's been so wet this year, all this water really didn't have anywhere to go.

Any other central Kentuckians wanna chime in?

There's a lot of thunder rattling in these parts. Sounds like we are gearing up for a good one too.

Man, I hate being without power. I will sit in front of my computer anyway.

Good luck getting home!

we are 45 min from Louisville and just got some wind and some rain....not much. Just missed us I guess.

It got real windy, real fast here. Then it rained (more like poured) for about 30 minutes. Some friends of mine (can't remember where exactly they are, I'm thinking London?) said they think a tornado went through, there were trees and power lines down all over their town. It was crazy, but that's Kentucky weather for you.

Hope you made it home okay.
