Holy Crap! There is a squirrel leg on my porch!

I have wood duck boxes by my pond and there are always red squirrels nesting in the mbefore any wood ducks get there the baby squirrels are actually really cute

But when my dog kills a red sqirrel it is really gross. My male border collie Rocket loves to get rabbits and squirrels cause he knows they are a pest to the garden.

What is wrong with the baby's beak? (on the left)

He just had a piece of food in there making it look warped... their beaks are really flexible... He was fine

Between the cats and the dogs im use to it.My dog Sadie every deer season brings lots of deer parts home.Since we live in a rual place we also get cow parts to.There is at this moment a cow hoof on my front porch. The cats are not so bad with leaving to much stuff.
Now as long as she doesnt bring home a human part

My cat would always eat *something* and then leave us a tiny part of it that appeared to be a random organ...the heart, the kidneys, etc. She would leave it on the doormat right outside our back door. She had a particular meow that she made when she caught something, so we'd run to the garage and shut the garage door if we heard her making that sound outside so she couldn't drag parts of her latest victim indoors.

My sister (who has read a lot about cats) said that cats bring parts of dead things to their owners because they are trying to teach us poor humans how to hunt for our food. The cats don't realize we're quite capable of hunting for food at the grocery store!!

Those baby grackles are hideous (and they don't look that much better when they're older...). All God's creatures need a place, though.
