I grew up in that area too! Weston, Texas. Knew just about everyone from Anna, Melissa, Celina, Van Alstyne, Prosper, McKinney, Princeton, Farmersville and in between. :lol:

Hello and welcome! Congratulations on your decision to get chickens. You won't regret it. Be sure to post pictures and tell us about your coop and flock when they arrive. I have two German Shepherds also. I keep them seperate from the flock with a chain link fence as that seemed like the easiest and most hassle-free solution.
