I have been dieing to turn the bator on, so saving these babies was a very good excuse, I think!!

My button hen just did the same thing!! Stupid brat bird! I took her eggs away from her because she left them alone and wouldn't go back to the nest. So after I took them out, she laid another and started cheeping at me every time she'd see me. I took that egg away from her, too. They're all in the 'bator now.

She's a great producer.. now if I can only get them to HATCH!!

I'm so darn tempted to get a silky hen just to use as a broody. I'm hoping now that I've removed as much user error as possible from my 'bator, I'll have better luck.

Congrats on the hatch, hope you get many more. I want more Buttons, I have a pair and Love them a lot. She is not laying now but come spring woohoo.LOL I hope so anyways.
