HOLY POSSUMS BATMAN!!!!!!!

I had a possum that went after my chickens.It is now history. It was a pretty big one.
There are so many dead ones in the road that I don't think I have to worry about them going extinct. I put steel leg traps out and caught some then to put them out of their and my misery, they get the 410. We have so many around I see them all the time. I didn't use to shut my coop up at night but since I have been seeing them around and have recently lost one of my best layers, it's good night possum. I contacted my local Fish and wildlife and they said go ahead and shoot. I'm not going to feed them and encourage them to come around.

soak that cat food in some of ya "hooch" ,, wait till they get good and drunk,,, then take em to ya neighbors house, place on front steps,, knock on door,, RUN away,, let them deal with it,,.....
ive given this advice to people in Douglasville GA ,, and they say it works GREAT!!

Well I would rather they leave but I'm afraid if I dont feed them they might want chicken for supper! Last year they lived under my neighbor's house two down and in the spring I didn't see them again at all. They would come to the front porch and eat the cat food we had out for the Tom we have outside, never were a problem. Now they are back and are in my back yard, where my chickens are, does worry me actually ALOT with them back there near my hens so if cat food will fill them up..at east tonight, it'll have to do..my DH and son can figure out a plan B tomorrow I hope

This is the young one I've seen around here lately. I had scared him and he ran up this dogwood tree that is literaly 10 feet from my runs.
