Support those that treat you best..I like to think I don't hold a grudge, but maybe I do. I have received good service from the other plumbers I now use and I just won't go back to that other company.

Sure makes a difference when you talk to a live person.![]()
I've come to like Credit Union's better then regular bank's.Totally agree. My bank now has an autobot interface, which is terrible, and you have to suffer though maybe 10 minutes of autoresponses before it will let you talk to a real live person. Terrible waste of my time. My complaints about their autobot service have either been ignored or they just can't do anything about it at this time. I will say my bank's service took a bit hit during the COVID lcokdown and they have yet to recover. I suspect they don't have enough real live people trained to help customers.

It seems that many of the smaller bank's got swallowed up by the bigger bank's. Your comment wasn't the first time that I have heard bad thing's about the Wells Fargo one.30 years ago, I opened a account at a friendly local bank. Very small. But nice people. Well, they got bought out, and then bought again, and again to now my small time local bank account is now in Wells Fargo. I don't have much good to say about Wells Fargo. I still keep the account if I need cash.
However, I don't trust Wells Fargo and keep a close on my account there, even though I typically only have a minimal amount of money there. My parents got caught up in one of their hidden insurance scams and that went unnoticed until my father's account was overdrawn. He could not understand why he ran short. Turns out, Wells Fargo had been taking out $25.00 a month for some insurance that nobody knew anything about. I filed a complaint with the local Wells Fargo and got the money back for my parents. About 9 months later, there was a class action suit against them for their practices.
It doesn't seem like using a military discount is something they should make difficult for the customer to accessYou can't use your military ID anymore in the store, it has to be some online QR code thingy that the checkout computer can scan.
