Home Made Incubator

That's awesome! We wanted to do it all DIY, Without an official Incubator, But with enough supplies to try to get the best hatch possible. We will probably do that. Three Times A Day.

I am thinking of trying it again. I stabilized the temp and hatched 13 of 14 game chicken eggs.

That's awesome! You have a good specialist.

That's awesome! As of this moment, I have 6 eggs that will arrive tomorrow from a farm just an hour or so away. Plus my husband is going to get a few more this weekend. Maybe 1-1/2 Dz More.

Awesome! And good idea on getting more, just in case some don't hatch or you end up with some roosters!

I've been thinking of trying to hatch eggs this year and making my own incubator seems much cheaper than buying one haha
When I was younger, My family used homemade Incubators and I know they had pretty high success rates, So I'm going to try to do the same. And I can't pull myself to spend 200+$ on something that could take 20$ and some electrical experience to do. Not with just doing small hatches.

Thank you! Her specialist actually recommended that we do this to help her Autism. She's ridiculously smart. And Just Turned Three Years old. She's completely involved in preparing for the eggs.

My daughter really loves animals, But she's allergic to most Indoor animals, and she's extremely interested in the hatching process of chicks, So I really hope this work out well for us. For her especially.

Yeah, i dont see the point in spending so much especially when a homemade one can hold way more haha

That's what I'm trying to plan ahead for. I'm hoping my luck holds out and we only get 1-2 roosters max. Lol.

Planning is always good and I hope you get lucky! Haha
