home raised vs store bought eggšŸ˜±

I always have a few frozen for recipes, I crack the egg, separate yolk/white, put the yokes in ice cube trays and freeze them then pop them out into ziplock bags and put them back in the freezer. Whites just get dumped into small "snack baggies" and frozen. I do this b/c I HATE making a recipe that calls for only the whites or only the yolks...what do you do with the rest? This solution works with me.

I always am shocked when I have to buy store eggs in size "Large" store eggs are about the size of a golf ball and get lost in the carton. My hens give me eggs so much larger than even store "Jumbo" eggs that I have a hard time sometimes getting the carton lid to snap. Like you all said...orange yolks vs pale yolks mean more nutrients.
