Hey Sandy, I just finished up the hen. I still need to stain the calligraphy so the wording will darken considerably. And hubby will add the frame when he gets home.

Question- do you seal these, so they can be used outside without the paint flaking? Just wondering.

I didn't even think about it because I just let mine weather but I can if you want. It's no problem. For those who do, I'll just slap a coat of low gloss polyurethane.

Would you mind if I bumped Henry in front of you? He ordered one as a Christmas gift for his family and it is considerably more detailed. I would like to make sure he has it in plenty of time.

They are beautiful, we have plenty of barn wood, Now if I just had some talent.I can't even paint a room well. If you sell outside BYC I think I would charge more, simply because they are so beautiful.
