Made your recipe this weekend, I don't have goats (DARN) but hope to before too long. But, the ice cream was great......we all loved it, next weekend DD and DH want to make it again and add bananas.....Thanks so much for the recipe!!!

I don't have fresh milk available...could store milk be sustituted? Also do you know if this can be made with splenda? I have 3 diabetics to think about...
Do you boil your milk before you make the custard? And then let it cool and then make custard. Please clarify. We do not pasteurize our goats milk before drinking.
