Homemade Feeders & Waterers?

Can you guys please share pictures of your homemade feeders & waterers? I need to put something together for my pullets and am unsure if I want to make something out of PVC or a bucket-style feeder... I also need reference pics too.

And if anyone has homemade waterer pictures & ideas I would LOVE to hear them!!

Feeder holds about 20# of food.

Waterer collects water into bucket, with overflow, and feeds it into nipple waterers.

Make sure you drain it in freezing weather.

Because I have so many animals, I have to have long feeders so that everyone can eat from the feeders from both sides. The feeders are anywhere from 2 feet to 4 feet long. All of the animals free range on about 1 acre. When it rains, it is very easy and quick for us to pick up the feeders and bring them into the chicken house. The animals go in the chicken house to eat on rainy days. These feeders cannot be tipped over unless a Hurricane comes through and tips it over.

No feed is wasted and now I am saving money on my feed bill.

I also use a smaller version for my pullets. Those small plastic feeders with the red bottom base and the other long plastic and aluminum feeder are a WASTE OF MONEY as far as I'm concerend. The pullets are always tipping them over and wasting the feed. I will NEVER buy store bought feeders again.

We are in the process of making waterers from PVC pipe, 5 gallon buckets and rain gutters. Will post a pic once they are made.

How often do you have to refill those wooden feeders? I know when I had a turkeys they were huge hogs! but right now I only have Muscovies & laying hens. Around 30 birds total.
