The easy answer is it doesen't mather how many eggs.

The more usefull answer is:
How many eggs you use depends on how much dry and wet ingredients you use.
Just start with a little bit of egg and mix, then keep adding till the mixture is wet enough.
Or start the wet ingredients with an egg and then add the other wet ingredients.
When you use to many eggs the blocks will be softer, but your chickens will like them anyway.
They only will be less dureble and have to be eaten sooner because they won't keep very long.
If you want a recipe i''ll make one for you.

A little tip:
Trubble with keeping your home made flock block nice?
Keep them in the freezer, they will keep very well.
Just let them defrost for a while before feeding.
Freez them on a plate so they won't stick together.
When they are frozen put them in a bag or container.
Now you can take out as many as you need at a time.
Even difrent flavors or recipe's that are harder to keep are possible this way.

I have to wait till fall to make my flock blocks, too much humidity and heat, even when they eat them pretty quick I still worry about mold. But since they free range they get plenty of goodies during this time of year.

so when fall hits they will get the goodies.

Mmm. What about putting a small one out FROZEN in the a.m.? Would thaw naturally throughout the day, reducing chances of mold and keeping the chickens cool! I might try that.

In summer you can put them in with your chickens when frozen. Just make sure the outer layer won't stick to there skin, like you can have with ice. Also frozen fruits and fruitsaus is a welcome treat in the heat.
