Homemade GUMP Bread - best I've found! **New pics added on pg. 5**

Making this today for the first time, and doing it quickly as we decided to "order out" thanksgiving and they gave us 8 tiny cresent rolls and we have 12 people coming!!! So going to keep one as a loaf and do the other half in rolls I think. We will see how it goes : ) Wish me luck!

*grumbling* They should have just let me make Thanksgiving....

About how long does it take to knead with your kitchen-aid mixer? I always seem to over knead my doughs!

It is much faster, too. This recipe from M.E.N. was a very long one...over-nite rising. I liked how I didn't have to measure and really didn't have to knead, just stretch and fold it but no where near as good as Gumps!!

I have read the beginning 3 or 4 pages and the last 3 or 4 last pages and I made the bread tonight and it was very good, big hit with spagetti, it looked UGGGGGLEE but after it was sliced and I read some more I can fix ugle....BUT NOW I HAVE TO READ ALL THE POSTS FOR ALL THE IDEAS! Very good thread!

Oh my good Lord.

I've stayed up until 1:14am making this bread, and it is amazing. I'm 15 weeks pregnant and all I crave is bread so I just had to try and make it, didn't expect it to be so good.

I'm in HEAVEN, haha!
