Homemade GUMP Bread - best I've found! **New pics added on pg. 5**

Okay, Im going to try this bread this weekend. My bread machine croaked (wah!), so this will truly be homemade for me. I think I can do it, Im excited to do it, but I see one thing in the recipe that I dont understand.

Wait 10 mins before slicing.....are you kidding me?? Is that even possible?

Everyone seems to love it - thanks for sharing! I think I'll make cinnamon rolls, too. Maybe I'll even be nice and take fresh cinnamon rolls down to my DH and his crew at work later on. They would love that!
 
We just made it yesterday and we loved it. We put in loaf pans and we just made a second batch with half whole wheat in it. Hope it turns out as well. Let you know soon. Thanks
 
Oh wow....

That is fantastic bread! I fixed the 2 loaves to have with my bbq pork roast, and oh yummmm.. You can forget that wait 10 minutes nonsense, tho.

I wonder if I could freeze the second loaf? I dont think we can go thru this first loaf for a couple of days, do you think it would freeze well?

Great bread, cant wait to try it with some minced garlic and seasonings.
