Well at least you're getting some moisture in that part of VA. We are in need of some rain so bad here.

Let us all know how the bread turns out and happy baking!

Honestly it has rained almost every single day here. It's so unlike the past several summers where it was just hot and dry. I know I shouldn't complain, but I am so sick of it. The humidity is terrible to boot.

My bread is rising as I type. Thanks for the recipe.

All I had was AP flour, so I hope it turns out ok.

It did that here too the whole first part of the summer then just quit. It's been extremely dry here on the south side of VA. Send some rain out direction, will you?!

The AP flour will work, just not as good. Keep us posted!

It's been a bad week, and a bad day......................so I finally decided to bake, to heck with the fact that the house will now be 100 degrees

I made some zucchini bread and I finally made Gump bread. It was easy and turned out good. It was a ray of light today

Sorry you've been having such a bad.

Glad the bread turned out to be a ray of sunshine, along with the zucchini bread of course!

I did it !!! This was so quick and easy especially using the dough hook on the kitchen aid mixer!! I want to add jalapenos, chili powder, cheese and corn next time; or cranberries, etc etc.Trying cinnamon rolls too ! Thank you sooooo much for a recipe that is EASY and I don't have to wait overnight for a starter to use !! WOOHOO!

Edited: I used Martha White AP flour instead of bread flour
