I'm in, I'm in! I think I'm in. When does the contest end???

I'm thinking the purpose is to showcase easy to make at home incubators. Are high tech homebuilts allowed? I designed & built the incubator, complete with an automatic turner, that I used to successfully hatch Emu a few years ago. Many of the parts were custom made so this wouldn't be what I would call a do-it-yourself unit...but I do have a simple one I made for hatching quail...so I'm in right??? Now, where did I put my camera???

Here is what I am starting with... a small fridge, 3 LG egg turners, 2 LG heating units one has a fan, the porcelain insulators from a sportsman type incubator, my some stretched the wire out when I was dismantling the Craigslist/Freecycle find.

Most of the items I got from an old member MissAmara. She has used it as an incubator before and this is how she had it set up.

I am planning some changes.

Katy... I am sure those were her BLRW eggs in the picture.

Well, hi there. I am brand new to this site. I actually joined in hopes of getting some tips on homemade incubators and how to hatch with them. I just built a 'bator myself, so I think I will go ahead and enter mine in just for fun. I will have to get pics and everything tomorrow to post. By the way, you all have made some great incubators and have given this newbie some great info
