I am going to hatch eggs in my homemade incubator, and a borrowed brinsa to see which hatches best, would it be fair to put shipped eggs in brinsa and my own eggs in the home made incubator? That is how it will go down. I have hatched in the home made one already. I know nothing about a brinsa first time. I will up date as I get my brinsa, and shipped eggs.

I dont think you would get an accurate conclusion putting shipped in one and yours in the other.
Shipped eggs have a lower hatch % then the ones you have already at home.
If you want to compare, I would put half of each (shipped and home) in each bator to get the best results, And That way you can see how each bator does for the two types of eggs.
If that makes sense
