Homemade Incubator?

We just join the big "hatch along" and this will be our first attempt. My 16 year old wants to make a homemade incubator and he found some directions online. Has anyone had good luck with homemade or should I just buy one?

Homemade is good.. I've builted a few, hatched hundreds of clicks.. Much more fun by doing it yourself

Yes, be patient.. There will be errors at first.. I've done a lot of research on the net.. Once you get it right, you will love it... Quite addictive..
