Homemade Water Dispenser?

Has anyone made a large homemade water dispenser? If so, will you share how you did it and how it worked out?

What kind kind of water dispenser? If you do a search on this forum you will find many styles from 5 gal buckets with nipples to rainwater collection to pie tins with a pail on it. Look around and decide what is best for your chickens, you and for your area. I went with rainwater collection and it has worked for me and the chickens. Best of luck and keep us all posted.

It's certainly going to be up to you and how many chickens you have. You'll find everything from nipple waterers in a 2 liter jug to 5 gallon buckets with an elaborate auto-fill method.

Me personnally, I have 2 5-gallon buckets. One in the coop and one in the run. Each has 3 nipples on it.

I used to have 10 but am down to 5 now so that's plenty for them.
