I am looking for BIll Nye DVD's or VHS -- ok they are still " in print" --- will ask librarian to order a few of them. She is great that way-- a real suppoert of home schooling. As she said do searches using two words, as home schooling is not one word. lol

I have always found that librarians are very willing to help, if you're willing to ask. Libraries have always been a WONDERFUL resource for me. Many times they will let you continue to keep renewing an item if nobody else has it reserved. And I am thankful that they are willing to order what I need but cannot always afford to buy.
Last year I had the library order Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims by Rush Limbaugh. My kids liked it so much that I ended up buying it so we could read it again. It is American history presented in a fun way!

Had a . . ummmm . . . pointed conversation with DH last night that we need to upgrade from dial up asap and NOT delay for another year. THe kids need the speed for learning possibiblites . . . my best point was that our librarian did her entire masters on line. 100%!!!

ANd I am now having to share my PC ( 14 yrs old and doing fine) but the kids will need it at the same time I do.) We are looking at WiFi , probably via cable as I hear satilite is spotty. BUt maybe that depends on the location.

How many are there? I don't know really. I think there are LOTS because that was a huge file I had LOL. The videos are only a couple of mins long on Youtube. I don't think it was a real TV show but one of those filler things were a commercial fits usually..... like school house rock was. Yeah I have those videos too..... hehe.
