Well see how this chip drop works for me.

I just made hotdog buns with my youngest. He wanted to help, so he got to put the pans in the oven(cold) and he tried to make one bun(as the dog tried to eat it from the bottom of his hands, its safe she didnt eat it). As he put in one full pan of buns he sniffed each one, then he turned around and made his one bun and put that pan in the oven. I couldnt figure out why it was taking him so long to put them in. I asked him what he was doing and his reply was "I am giving each one a kiss." Told him we needed to turn on the stove light so the buns can grow, he runs over and turns it on then runs into the livingroom and turns on the kitchen light, double the light means they grow quicker to a 3 year old I guess. He really likes hotdogs, we normally buy the buns but I decided to just make them this time. It was very cute but I wish he wouldnt have kissed all of them because he is sick. Oh well, he had fun and got to get a little oily. Now it's wait for the oldest to get home, complete homework, have a picnic of hot dogs and jello then obedience class for the dog then bed. Kids are coming with to "puppy class" and going to play quietly behind me, if I am lucky Hubby will be off early enough to sit with them and be able to watch as well. If not, they will do ok behind me and the older one will take the other to the bathroom and make sure he has clothes on when he leaves the room as well. There are days were I swear we live in a nudist house, I swear the neighbors think we are, summer the kids are in underwear running in the backyard and right now the youngest is potty training and thinks it is funny to "lose" his big boys every 5 minutes.

I don't have a huge property to take care of, I rent a duplex which also prevents me having chickens or livestock outside of my rabbit. So I have more extra time with me not working. The dog classes are new but I am tired of her dog aggression towards other females, so we are going to work on ignoring other dogs and people, for the most part. The garden is kinda waiting for warmer weather, I saw a few peas just barely coming up outside. So I have time to make buns, debating on blueberry muffins tomorrow or pull-apart monkey bread. The family will eat either, I am kinda stuck between the 2; anybody want to break the tie?

Yesterday I was in church for dinner/bible study and my friend called me.. she was on my driveway with a trailer loaded with cow manure for me

. It was a nice surprise since she had not told me in advance when she would bring it. Told me she was going out of town/would be busy this coming week and just thought of driving over. I plan on covering it with a black heavy plastic to give it sometime to age some more before using it.

How long does cow manure have to age before it is garden ready? Dad is planning on getting a couple of beef cows and I know the garden can use an extra boost. Monkey bread is going to have to wait for another day, I got sick last night and early this morning the oldest got sick and is still sick. Luckly Hubby called my Dad and he came over to watch the boys for a little bit while I slept, a heads up would have been nice though. I woke up because a huge shadow was outside my bedroom door, my Dad is 6'4, he was calling the dog to keep her out of my room. Got up to find the oldest eating a green apple and the youngest doing a puzzle on the floor. Visited with him for a couple of hours, couldn't go back to sleep after a scare like that. I think it is time to get a dog that barks, she is entirely too happy to see new people. A day of rest and chicken noodle soup is in order for my house today. Next week is spring break so we will be spending more time outside helping Dad at his house, getting fields ready to plant and the garden tilled and ready for planting.

Are we done with the cold and snow in NYS? Can I plant my potatoes now or should I wait? I don't understand why the stores sell spuds so early if I can't plant the stuff noooooowwwww!!

I want to plant some stuff nnnnnoooooowwwwww!

I've started my tomatoes, zinnia, holly hocks, and okra, but is it too early to start pumpkins and squashes? How do you start your pumpkins and squashes? I've got high plastic lids over my other plants but won't pumpkins and squashes need more space?

I've a few of lids similar to this.
