Why not your dogs? Mine go bonkers for chicken liver and I would suspect it is quite a good protein source for them.
Is it because you don't want to handle it?
I would never feed it to my dogs either. I am too selfish and want it myself!

I save every deer liver for the dogs and most of the chicken livers get fed back to the chickens waiting around my butchering station for a tidbit. Good source of iron for them all. I can't imagine wasting such a thing by throwing it away...same with the other organs such as heart, kidneys, testes. All good protein, good nutrition for animal and man.
I've not gotten up the nerve to eat those either...those go to chickens and dogs also. Found a testicle in one of those roasted chickens from Sam's Club the other day at my in-laws house. I wonder if folks who eat restaurant and store prepared chickens know that the kidneys are always left intact and sometimes the testicles and spermatic cords are left behind in there as well. LOVE the kidneys!!!

Surprising what people will happily eat when they haven't a clue that it's in there but, would probably toss their cookies if they did.
I grew up with my grandparents and they ate beef liver 2 times a week. The smell made me so sick I spent those days with friends. As for chicken liver, I guess I could feed it to the dogs. Do I just boil it and feed it to them or do I feed it to them raw?Why not your dogs? Mine go bonkers for chicken liver and I would suspect it is quite a good protein source for them.
