I have been using them for the past few years and they work as well as the brand name ink cartridges. I pay  $5.50 for a no name where the brand name costs $19.95. And, if you order $50 worth or more, shipping is free. For me, I use a lot of ink, and this is a no brainer.

Gooseberries. I never had jelly made from them, but ate them fresh at my Grandmother's farm when I was a kid.

It is (Algonquian), meaning "stream between mountains" ...probably because of the area called the Delaware Water Gap...where the Delaware River separates NJ and PA.

Very funny, but I just used them and the jam came out good.

Boy isn't this the truth! I am amazed how much a miserable experience like shopping can be improved by doing it online. With next day or 2 day delivery, WOWSER! it is just amazing.

When I am "shopping" online I imagine what it must have been like at the turn of the 1900's when people got catalogues from Sears Roebuck and Monkey Wards, and were finally able to get the things in the country that city people had. Now with the internet it can be cheaper and faster than trying to find what you need in the city!

The WWD tries to ban me from Amazon, but I still go there. Of course, to be fair, she has banned me from Sam's Club and Costco too. I like to stock up, what can I say?

I made plain Gooseberry jam and it would make you pucker.

However when used with other berries it tastes good. I do like to cook them up first and then add the others. Strawberries and Raspberries are softer so they cook quicker.

Too I have cooked up the Gooseberries and squeezed them through some cheesecloth first. They can be seedy.

It's more work but worth it. The same with Jellies. More work. The grape especially.

Now I have to ask. Do the folks who sell jelly at the farmers market really make it at home?

Same amount as the name brand. I have a Canon Printer...in fact I have used this ink in a number of Canon printers...no problem.

I have a recipe for Gooseberry Raspberry jam that calls for 1 pound of Gooseberries BUT my gooseberries are frozen. How do I make the conversion.

Is one pound frozen fruit the same as unfrozen?

I think so. The size may change if frozen, vs unfriendly, but I think weight remains the same.
