(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, we got our first pullets July 2017. So very new to chickens for me but my husband has had chickens when he was younger.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
17 chickens

(3) What breeds do you have?
Australorps, sebrights, brown leghorns, wyandottes, silkies, Cochin bantams, and sebright bannie mixes.

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Google search

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Knit, crochet, spinning, gardening

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I am a yarn dyer by trade, stay at home mom of two girls, I live on a family cattle farm, my husband works on a different farm and this farm. I have 4 cats outside who love watching my chickens.

Your yarn trade made me think of one of our awesome moderators, @TwoCrows . She's a whiz at crocheting and also a great resource for all things chicken or quail.
