Hmm, maybe my hen is broody, I'm just taking the eggs away from her. She hasn't come out of the coop much, jsut stood in the doorway and comes out for food and water.

MAybe I should leave the egg that I get tomorrow in the coop and see what she does with it, I notice that one of my chickens has laid an egg on the ground and it is right next to the duck egg. hmmm maybe she is broody.

My duck's bites hurt like hades! Emeril only gets aggressive if one of the hens is sitting though and it's a protective aggression not a mean one.

Time to get out some steel toe boots, shin pads, a carhartt and a face mask and just stand in the coop and let them attack me. eventually they will get bored with me.

Ummm no,,, I would suggest trying to find the reason behind the aggression first, if you have no hens sitting, you might just separate the two bullies because alone they aren't nearly as brave. Also, you could rehome them if you have another drake that can take care of business but is not as mean. Try getting rid of one first, see if that takes care of the problem, if it doesn't bye bye to number two and get a drake that has better social interaction with us hapless humans. There is nothing like being bullied by a feathered monster that weighs less than 10% of our weight!
